- Introduction: These Terms of Membership (“Terms”) govern your membership with GCI – Green Chefs International (“GCI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By applying for and maintaining membership with GCI, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not apply for membership or discontinue your membership.
- Eligibility: Membership with GCI is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and have professional experience in the culinary field. By applying for membership, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
- Membership Types and Fees: GCI offers different membership types and fee structures to cater to the varying needs of our members. You agree to pay the applicable membership fees as determined by the membership type you have selected. Membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases where GCI, in its sole discretion, deems it appropriate to issue a refund.
- Membership Benefits: As a member of GCI, you are entitled to various benefits depending on your membership type. These benefits may include, but are not limited to, access to exclusive content, resources, events, networking opportunities, and the use of GCI logos and materials in accordance with our guidelines. GCI reserves the right to modify, add, or remove membership benefits at any time without prior notice.
- Code of Conduct: As a member of GCI, you agree to uphold the highest professional and ethical standards in your conduct and practice. You are expected to:
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Respect the rights, dignity, and well-being of others, including colleagues, clients, and the environment.
- Act in the best interest of GCI and its mission.
- Refrain from engaging in any activities that may harm the reputation of GCI or its members.
- Use of GCI Logos and Materials: GCI grants its members a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use GCI logos and materials in connection with their professional activities, subject to the guidelines and restrictions established by GCI. Unauthorized use of GCI logos or materials may result in the termination of your membership and potential legal action.
- Membership Termination: GCI reserves the right to terminate your membership at any time, with or without cause, upon written notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, non-payment of membership fees, violation of these Terms, or any conduct that is detrimental to GCI or its mission. Upon termination of your membership, all rights and benefits associated with your membership shall cease.
- Changes to Terms of Membership: GCI reserves the right to modify these Terms of Membership at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and we encourage you to review these Terms regularly to stay informed about our membership policies.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms of Membership shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GCI is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within that jurisdiction for any disputes arising out of or relating to your membership with GCI.
